Last week, 201 new companies were registered in Latvia, according to data at the Registry of Enterprises.

193 new companies were registered with the commercial register, including 154 limited liability companies, 34 individual proprietorships, two foreign commercial branches, two joint stocks and one branch.
Six farmsteads were also registered with the registry, one cooperative company and one representative office.
The largest share capital last week was registered for "Tukums Airport Ltd." - LVL 656,000.
"Industrial and logistics center "Lapegles" Ltd." share capital was LVL 400,000, "Baumit-Baltikum Ltd." - LVL 100,000, "FMS Ltd." - LVL 29,100, the joint stock "Ebreju berni" - LVL 25,000, the joint stock "M-VATS" - LVL 25,000.
Last week, 94 companies were liquidated, including 14 individual proprietorships, 42 limited liability companies, three cooperative companies, two foreign commercial branches, one state enterprise, two municipal companies, two branches, 20 farmsteads, five individual businessmen, one commercial branch and two non-governmental organizations.
