Aksenoks votes for New Era, hopes right-wing parties will win Riga City Council election

Aivars Aksenoks, New Era (JL) candidate for Riga mayor, hopes that right-wing parties will win the election in Riga, and himself today voted for his party, JL.

The chances of JL are very good, because the party has been working hard both during the pre-election period and after that, Aksenkoks told LETA. This is why, in Aksenoks' opinion, people trust his party.

Aksenoks also believes that he has a good chance of becoming the mayor of Riga. According to Aksenoks, right-wing parties will form the new coalition at the Riga City Council, and the new mayor will also be a representative of a right-wing party.

Aksenoks cast his vote at the 69th polling station in Riga, located in the Riga 32nd High School. By 10 a.m., 105 voters had been to the polling station. Overall, 2,527 citizens may vote at this polling station, LETA learned from the Central Election Commission.
