"Deko" design annual award granted to "Open up" office furniture set
The magazine "Deko" has granted its annual "Dizains 2004" prize to the office furniture set "Open up", the initiators of the competition informed LETA.
The magazine "Deko" has granted its annual "Dizains 2004" prize to the office furniture set "Open up", the initiators of the competition informed LETA.
"Open up" is the entry from office design center "Coppa's" designers Aldis Circenis, Gatis Gavars, Armands Meirans, and it has been manufactured in conjunction with "Saga Ltd.", "Dailrade koks Ltd.", "Rumba V Ltd." and "Rigas kreslu fabrika".
The joint stock "Latvijas finieris" is in second place with the set of shelves "9+"; the author is designer Janis Ziemelis. The third place goes to hand-made linen towels of "Ars Tela Ltd.".
The works nominated for "Dizains 2004" have been displayed at the interior center "mc2" on Krasta Street in Riga until March 31.
The competition has been held for the second year in a row. This year, 14 various design works were submitted for the competition.
