"Domina Shopping" holding rafters' celebration in former VEF territory
A traditional rafters^apostrofs; celebration for the "Domina Shopping" retail center is taking place today in the territory of the former "VEF" Plant in Riga at 3 Ieriku Street.
A traditional rafters' celebration for the "Domina Shopping" retail center is taking place today in the territory of the former "VEF" Plant in Riga at 3 Ieriku Street.
Ainars Paunins, commercial director of the construction company "Re&Re", stressed that the new shopping center would be one of the most significant sites in Latvia and the Baltic countries, which would a "breath of fresh air" in the former VEF territory.
"Domina Shopping's" total area will be 110,000 square meters, including the area of 50,000 square meters for commercial operations.
A 11,000 square-meter hyper-market is planned on the territory of the center, eight supermarkets and several dozen smaller stores.
Besides, offices, hotels and a kindergarten are planned within the complex.
The first stage of the center is to be completed in one year - by September 2003.
The second stage of the project will be began in December this year and completion of construction work is planned by September 2004.
"Domina Shopping" has been formed as a regional retail center having an ideal location site.
