EBRD representatives to discuss crediting "Liepajas siltums's" TEC reconstruction
The representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will arrive in Liepaja tomorrow in order to meet with the insolvent "Liepajas siltums^apostrofs;s" management and discuss crediting options for reconstruction of the Liepaja thermal power station or construction of the new co-generation station.

As Dace Grinberga, administrator at "Liepajas siltums", told LETA, 70 percent of credit financing are to be attracted for the project while 30 percent will be covered by the company's own financing.
An international tender is under way on the reconstruction of "Liepajas siltums" TEC, a new gas and steam co-generation plant with capacity up to 100 MW, delivery of equipment, construction, financing and insurance.
The bidders may sign up beginning October 4 and hand in their bids until December 4. The winner will be selected until December 31 of this year.
The "Liepajas siltums" creditors approved the decision on announcement of the international tender during their meeting on September 27.
The regulations for the tender have been drawn up in accordance with international standards and basing on international specialists' experience.
Jean Lemierre, the president of EBRD, during his meeting with President Vaira Vike-Freiberga today confirmed that the EBRD is ready to continue investing in Latvia.
