European electric appliances retailer buys "MG Elektro"
In expanding its operations in the Baltic countries, the Finnish company "Sonepar Finland/SLO" (SLO) has bought the Latvian electrical appliances retail company "MG Elektro Ltd.", LETA was informed by the SLO representative Pekka Syrjakari.

"MG Elektro", in the future called "SLO Latvia", has been operating on the Latvian and Estonian markets with total annual turnover of EUR 3.3 million (LVL 2 million). 25 people have been employed at the company.
"MG Elektro" owners Zanda Pekale and Girts Pekals sold the company to Finns.
"Sonepar Finland" is a part of the French "Sonepar Group", which is one of the largest electric appliances retailers in Europe.
A press conference is scheduled at "Radisson SAS Daugava" Hotel in Riga at noon on Monday, May 19, in order to inform about the deal.
