First part of the Town hall is finished
Building operations of the Town hall^apostrofs;s first part will be finished till tomorrow, August 15, partnership Kalnozols RRB Moduls informed agency LETA.
Building operations of the Town hall's first part will be finished till tomorrow, August 15, partnership Kalnozols RRB Moduls informed agency LETA.
Delimitation constructions for par A, essential quantity of the main building of the Town hall of part B, installation of roof and windows, decoration of the part's B front and montage of the tower will be done.
Town hall will have nice-looking externals at Riga 800, even building operations will be continued.
Kalnozols RRB Moduls plans to finish building of the part C by December 31. SIA Kalnozols Celtniecība does setting up of monolith constructions at the part C now. At the same time building of the engineering network and different kind of inside design will be done.
Main entrance at the Town hall will be from the Town hall's square. Group of small staterooms with lobbies and foreign department will be located at the first floor towards square.
Wide cabinet of the mayor with the small balcony towards square is planned at the second floor of the Town hall. Historically names of the newly voted town councilors were announced from this balcony at the Sunday before Miķeļi day. Offices for vice-mayors will be located at the part of Towns hall that are faced towards Kaļķu Street.
Offices of the executive director and committees of deputies will be located at the third and fourth floors of the Town hall. Entrance into tower will be at the upper level, where small platform for sightseeing is planned. Premises for archive and municipality's library with reading room are planned at the library's tower's part that will be reconstructed.
Parking place for cars will be in the inner yard, but greened terrace with small basin will be located above the central lobby. Information service will function at the lobby and floor will be located next to the lobby.
Authentic old walls could be seen at the Town hall's cellar and Town hall's pub also will be located there.
Town hall's putting into operation is planned at September 30, 2002, but this newly built and renovated house will start to function as municipality's house at 2003.
Total value of the object is 8 millions Lats.
Journalists will have possibility to walk at the Town house and see it's planning during the building process tomorrow at 2.15pm.
