KG: "We were very impressed with the large number of trade visitors coming to our stand. It shows that our innovative products in window and door technology are meeting with great interest in Russia, too." MACO, a company that is one of the main suppliers of building fittings in Russia, with an approximately 20-percent market share there, was also delighted with the crowds at the show, and impressed by the visitors' high expectations. Dieter Kaiser from Semperit Gummiwerk Deggendorf GmbH, a specialist in seals for construction elements, summed up BUILDEX 2013 in the following words: "We are more than satisfied with the result of this trade show. IMAG – Internationaler Messe- und Ausstellungsdienst GmbH, a partner of the BUILDEX organiser Media Globe-Crocus, highlights the particular importance of this trade fair for international companies and associations. This event in Russia offers an excellent platform for doing business in one of the world ́s most important growth markets. The Russian housing market emerged strongly from the financial crisis of 2008 and 2009, with the result that the building sector – including all the ancillary trades – is experiencing significant growth.
And, given that housing is currently in short supply in Russia, it can be assumed that there are still tremendous opportunities for further growth in this area.
