"Furniture 2002" to open in Kipsala exhibition hall
The 7th international furniture and design fair "Furniture 2002" (Mģbeles 2002) will be open today in Riga^apostrofs;s Kipsala Exhibition Center, LETA was informed by the "BT 1" information and public relations specialist Solvita Velde.
The 7th international furniture and design fair "Furniture 2002" (Mģbeles 2002) will be open today in Riga's Kipsala Exhibition Center, LETA was informed by the "BT 1" information and public relations specialist Solvita Velde.
More than 120 participants will take part in the fair this year, including 70 percent local producers and 30 percent foreign companies from Lithuania, Estonia, Italy and Germany, as well as Belarus, Belgium, Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands and others.
The fair will be open through October 6 and provide a wide range of furniture for home and office, supply parts, design and interior solutions. Various activities and seminars will be held as a part of the fair.
The official opening of the fair is set for midday today with the participation of Viesturs Tile, director of the exhibition company "BT 1", Aivars Einauss, president of the furniture association "Latvijas mebeles", "Latvijas koks" Executive Director Andris Plezers and Latvian Chamber of Craftsmanship Chairman Vilnis Kazaks.
