Health resort "Rigas licis" sold at auction for LVL 2.3 million to "Ventspils nafta"
The joint-stock gas company "Latvijas gaze" (LG) has sold the health resort "Rigas licis" in Jaundubulti, Jurmala for the initial price of LVL 2.3 million in an open auction to the sole participant of the auction - the joint-stock "Ventspils nafta", LETA was informed by LG Press Secretary Sandra Adamsone.

LG's board approved the results of the auction today.
Adamsone informed that LG had encountered problems with property rights to the land plot on which the resort is situated, however, these problems could possibly be tackled in the near future.
The auction of "Rigas licis" took place on September 18. The hotel, on the sandy Gulf of Riga beach, was built in 1970. The total area of the health resort is almost 9 hectares while premises cover 17,261.3 square meters. A conference hall with seats for 250 people, a movie theater, restaurants and bars are located in the health resort.
