"IMS Studio 6" drops Riga ice arena project due to commotion

"IMS Studio 6" declared that it does not want to continue work in a country where a major stir is created over a project only in its initial stage. "The investors would be more understanding had not the investment plan been drawn up especially for Latvia", Lipmans commented.
The announcement from "IMS Studio 6" was received from the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Lipmans is set to meet with IIHF President Rene Fasel today.
"They [politicians] have gotten what they wanted," Lipmans commented.
Press secretary at the Latvian Ice Hockey Federation, Martins Pagodkins, pointed out that "IMS Studio 6" President Goran Takac was not the one who decided to scratch the project in Riga, but specifically the investors he represents.
Pagodkins admitted that Lipmans is shocked over the developments.
No written statement has been received yet, only a verbal announcement, Pagodkins added.
