Construction company "Kalnozols betons" that is subsidiary company of "Kalnozols un partneri" is planning to have more than 2 millions lats of turnover in year 2001, informed LETA agency marketing director Dainis Zelmenis.
Owners of "Kalnozols betons" think that process of entrance for their business in the market is finished. In year 2000 turnover of the company was 1,2 millions lats.
From 1st of June, 2001 the company will change its name to Construction Company "Orlands". As Mr. Zelmenis says that the company renamed its name because it became contracted, founders of "Orlands" are sure that with the new name company will not only lose anything, but will be successfully developed.
"Kalnozols betons" subsidiary company of holding company " Kalnozols un partneri " that was found in 1998. Its purpose was to accomplish average and small orders of concreting work. For three year company did not only concreting work but as well general construction and finishing works.
From concreting works the company "Kalnozols betons" had only 15% of all turnover.
"That is mean that "Kalnozols betons" already for three years became an universal company for construction ", says representative of the company. And, also that word "betons" ("concrete") in some ways is deceptive.
From company's name we also dispose of word "Kalnozols" because only two companies from "Kalnozols un partneri" group had this word in their name. Both of these companies are working in construction and often were misunderstood, and it was hard to abstract Business Company.
