Increasing number of buyers are interested in energy-efficient home
RESTA exhibition covering the complete range of construction and renovation services reflects building trends not only of today but even of tomorrow, therefore this year's exhibition will focus on innovative, energy-efficient construction. Energy-Efficient Home Information Centre will be open at the exhibition, where experts will provide consulting, visitors will have a possibility to learn about harmonious home design principles, alternative uses of energy sources.
Heating and saving possibility were among the most popular themes of the last year's exhibition, while Exhibition Hall No. 3, where the latter theme and alternative heating, "intelligent home" topics were introduced was among the most visited. According to visitors, a house must be not only of high quality but also economical, efficient, since gas, oil prices keep growing, therefore various possibilities of alternative heating, "intelligent home" systems helping to save are in particular relevant.
According to the Director of Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association Mindaugas Statulevičius, the demand for housing fitted with state-of-the-art solutions has been increasing on the market with every year. "Real estate developers respond to these trends and are making increasing investments into innovative solutions, geothermal heating in blocks of flats, recuperative ventilation systems. While users tend to pay more for housing and save later by getting smaller heating bills. True, there is only one A energy efficiency class block of flats in Bajorų kalvos settlement, in Vilnius, but B energy efficiency class blocks of flats are available, and as we know starting from 2014 construction of blocks of flats of this class only will be allowed", said M. Statulevičius and adds that detached house builders are in particular active at implementing various innovations.
This year, over 100 companies will introduce innovative building solutions, "intelligent home" management systems at the exhibition. Visitors who are interested in efficient energy use in buildings, its saving, state-of-the-art building solutions will be able to receive consultation on these issues from Energy Efficient Home Information Centre experts, who will not only answer all kinds of questions but will also name the exhibition stands where products or solutions that interest the visitor can be found.
RESTA will undoubtedly be the largest construction exhibition in the Baltic States again, attracting biggest numbers of visitors and occupying largest exhibition areas. This year, about 530 companies from 12 countries will take part at the exhibition, while exhibition expositions will be spread over 33 thousand sq.m. area, occupying all exhibition halls and outdoor grounds of Litexpo.
For the second year RESTA exhibition will be more versatile than before - construction themes are supplemented with several new themes: real estate, "intelligent home" management, living environment management and landscaping. The major part of the exhibition exposition will traditionally be dedicated to building and finish materials, new technologies, heating, ventilation, plumbing equipment, electric installation. Wooden and log houses, building machinery, equipment, instruments will be displayed at outdoor grounds.
Visitors of the exhibition will not only learn about building novelties, real estate market issues, but will also be able to admire mini gardens and flower gardens, which in the area of 1000 sq.m. will be designed by the Lithuanian Association of Green Plantation Developers and Decorative Plant Growers. Visitors will find a wide range of planting solutions, ideas, saplings, mini gardens and flower garden compositions. A lot of attention will be devoted to wall, roof planting at this year's exhibition.
Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts will organise an international Business Contacts Fair, which will be attended by over 100 companies from several countries. The purpose of this event is to help Lithuanian and foreign building companies to find new business partners and to discuss collaboration possibilities.
Construction and renovation exhibition RESTA will be held on the 24th-27th of April, at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO.
