The draft concept for the plant has been worked out, including a specified business plan, seeking the most convenient location and formulating conditions for potential business partners. About LVL 4 million are necessary to launch the plant.

The capacity of the new cannery is planned at 3,000,000 sprat cans and 400,000 anchovy cans monthly. The production outlets are planned both on the western and eastern markets.
Construction of new facilities is the continuation of optimization of the company production and reduction in costs, the company's board chairman Imants Kalnins pointed out, adding that the outcome of the project would depend on successful attracting of business partners.
