LPA board recommends terminating contract with "Ominasis Latvia" on Kemeri sanatorium
The Latvian Privatization Agency (LPA) board is proposing reaching an agreement with "Ominasis Latvia Ltd.", selected for privatization of the historic Kemeri Sanatorium in Jurmala, on termination of the purchase contract.
The Latvian Privatization Agency (LPA) board is proposing reaching an agreement with "Ominasis Latvia Ltd.", selected for privatization of the historic Kemeri Sanatorium in Jurmala, on termination of the purchase contract.
As stated in the proposal drawn up by the LPA board for review by the LPA council today, if the purchase contract is terminated, the sanatorium would be turned over to LPA. In this case the state must invest LVL 360,000 for the sanatorium's restoration.
Jurmala City Council Chairman Dainis Urbanovics has sent confirmation to Minister of Economy Aigars Kalvitis and LPA Director General Arnis Ozolnieks about the readiness of the Jurmala City Council to take over the sanatorium.
