The press will be informed about operations, staff duties, social guarantees, the course of inventory and the possibility of temporary production in one of the "Latfood" umbrella group "Chips APB's" companies in Finland and Sweden.
The press conference is scheduled for 12 noon at the "Latfood" offices in Adazi. "Latfood" Chairman of the Board Atis Zarins is scheduled to participate.
As reported, it took firefighters 29 hours to extinguish the March 1 blaze that had spread over a 2,500 square meter area.
In 2003, "Latfood" operated with losses of LVL 280,196. In 2002, the company's profit totaled LVL 185,950. Whereas the company's net turnover in 2003 stood at LVL 10.05 million, which was by 40 percent up from 2002 when the company operated with turnover of LVL 7.18 million.
The company's turnover was planned at LVL 11.3 million in 2004.
