Latvian construction companies turned over more than LVL 370 million in 2003

According to the LBA data, "Skonto buve" was the biggest construction company, its turnover amounted to LVL 21.128 million.
The top ten of Latvia's biggest construction companies also includes "Re&Re" (turnover of LVL 19.966 million), "BMGS" (LVL 19.3 million), "Kalnozols celtnieciba" (LVL 18.072 million), "LEC" (LVL 17.05 million), "RBS Skals" (LVL 15.152 million), "U.Pilena birojs" (LVL 14 million), "REMUS" (LVL 12.134 million) and "PBLC" (LVL 11.092 million).
"Celuprojekts" was the biggest architectural design company last year, its turnover amounted to LVL 1.248 million, next was "Aqua brambis" (LVL 0.47 million) and "Karlis" (LVL 0.37 million).
LBA members will hold a general meeting on Friday, April 23, at 10 a.m. to discuss construction companies' work last year and plans for this year. Awards for the best building raised last year will also be presented during the meeting.
LBA currently includes 197 members - construction companies, insurers, manufacturers and retailers of construction materials, architectural design companies and others.
