"Linstow Varner" profit at LVL 2.222 million last year

The real estate company "Linstow Varner Group^apostrofs;s" consolidated profit in 2002 was LVL 2.222 million, turnover amounted to LVL 6.877 million, "Linstow Varner" Financial Director Olafs Vitols told LETA.

In 2001, "Linstow Varner" posted LVL 450,000 in losses, the company counted LVL 677,000 in profit last year.

"Linstow Varner's" assets stand at LVL 73.780 million, equity - LVL 38.602 million.

The company invested LVL 17 million in Latvia last year. "Linstow Varner's" largest project in 2002 was reconstruction of the shopping center "Mols", into which LVL 9.7 million were invested. The company also invested LVL 5.5 million into the construction of shopping center "Origo" at the Riga Central Railroad Station last year.

The company's investments this year are estimated at LVL 10.5 million, Vitols said. LVL 7.5 million are to be invested into completion of construction of the "Origo" shopping center, about LVL 2 million - into reconstruction of the "Alfa" shopping center, and about LVL 1 million into reconstruction of the department store "Centrs".
