Latvian Hockey Federation's (LHF) board will hold a meeting today to decide on the best bid for the arena.
According to Brinkmanis, an agreement between "Metala buvju sistemas Ltd." and "Multihalle Ltd." will be signed in September and it will refer to the project within the territory of the former hippodrome.
"Multihalle's" owners are Ojars Kehris (31 percent), Kirovs Lipmans (29 percent), Ivars Kalviskis (20 percent) and Guntis Indriksons (20 percent).
"Metala buvju sistemas", which is a Swiss and British companies' group, is owned by Brinkmanis (50 percent), "Biznesa konsultaciju serviss Ltd." (30 percent) and "MG Arhitekti Ltd." (20 percent). Whereas "Biznesa konsultaciju serviss" is owned by four persons - Aleksandrs Dorofeikovs, Lidija Potjomkina, Andris Strikis and Vladimirs Solomatins. "MG Arhitekti" is owned by Guntis Grabovskis (41 percent), Juris Mitenbergs (39 percent) and Brinkmanis (20 percent).
The LHF board meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. LHF will hold a press briefing at the federation's bureau on 23 Raunas street at 4 p.m. today to inform reporters about the decision.
There are four potential constructors of the ice arena - "SCI Stadium Consultants International", "IMS Studio 6", "Metala buvju sistemas Ltd." and "Multihalle Ltd.".
