The Finnish company "JHC Arena Holding Oy Ltd." will present the multi-functional sports arena's concept for "Multihalle Ltd." at "Park Hotel Ridzene" at 12 noon today.
Prime Minister Andris Berzins will take part in the presentation.
"JHC Arena Holding Oy Ltd." chief Harri Harkimo said earlier that the arena should be built according to Latvia's specifics.
In one month, the Finnish company has studied how the large building will need to be built, what the financing strategy could be, the facility's name and management principles.
According to "Multihalle" Chairman of the Board Ojars Kehris, the first stage would cost the company about USD 100,000.
The former location of Riga's horse race track at the intersection of Skanstes Street and Grostonas Street is being considered as a possible site.
"Multihalle" was founded by Kehris, who owns 31 percent interest in the company, worth LVL 19,747 nominal value, Ivars Kalviskis (20 percent, LVL 12,740), Guntis Indriksons (20 percent) and Kirovs Lipmans (29 percent, LVL 18,473).
