Oslo municipality c/o the city council would like an updated estimate of the maintenance need for Undervisningsbygg Oslo KF's (Undervisningsbygg) buildings. The estimate shall make a division between the total maintenance need and the maintenance lag and the costs shall identify which belong to Undervisning or the Education Department.
Oslo municipality's city archive has asked the Education Department to give an account of the archive situation in the Oslo schools. The Education Department has requestsed that Undervisningsbygg take over the constructional aspect by mapping the archives.
Undervisningsbygg Oslo KF would like to work out maintenance plans for the buildings in accordance with the rent contract which is available. The Education Department has equivalently asked Undervisningsbygg to map and plan the school's internal maintenance needs in accordance with the Education Department's defined responsibilities. Immediate measures shall be improved as a part of the project and will not be included in the maintenance plans.
The Environment Protection Department at the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority require that windows containing PCB are marked. This mapping will be included in the project.
The Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Health and Care Services have, through the city council's department for arts and education and the Education Department have requested a mapping of which schools are certified in accordance with the regulations concerning environment orientated health protection. The project is to work out a model to show which schools will be able to fulfil the regulations' requirements.
In addition Undervisningsbygg would like to map univeral design and the competence to adapt the buildings in the light of new specifications, technical regulations and future development of the school sites.
