The new "Toyota" Center at 3 Krasta Street in Riga will open today at 5 p.m., LETA learned at "Amserv Motor Ltd."
The new "Toyota" center is one of most representative automobile dealership's and service centers in all of the Baltics.
The center occupies 1.4 hectares, the total area of the building is 4,000 square meters. The showroom is 750 square meters.
The center's service station can hold up to 25 automobiles at one time, it offers tune-ups, repairs of the automobile's body and painting services. The new "Toyota" center also houses a cafe.
The center belongs to "Amserv Motors", the official distributor of "Toyota" and "Lexus" automobiles in Latvia, the center has been constructed by "FKSM", the Latvian subsidiary of Finland's largest construction company "YIT Corporation". The center's design was worked out by the architectural offices "Linson Arechitecture".
Total costs of construction amounted to under LVL 1.3 million.
"Amserv Grupp" is an international network for retail of automobiles in the Baltics, that retails and offers maintenance of "Toyota", "Lexus", and "Opel" automobiles in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The concern's consolidated turnover was LVL 16.4 million in 2000, it is expected to exceed LVL 20 million this year.
The next stage in development of the company is establishing a modern automobile center in Vilnius.
