One of the most remarkable art nouveau houses in Riga will be opened after the reconstruction

Art nouveau house at Elizabetes street 10b is one of the most remarkable houses of this style in Riga. House is reconstructed by company LX grupa and will be opened today.

Art nouveau house at Elizabetes street 10b is one of the most remarkable houses of this style in Riga. House is reconstructed by company LX grupa and will be opened today.

As Mārcis Apsītis, president of the LX grupa informed agency LETA, house was built at 1903, it's designer is engineer Mihails Eizenšteins (1867-1921), whose art nouveau houses in Riga are well known because of their magnificence and beauty.

Project of the reconstruction is done by bureau LX projekts, main contractor of the reconstruction is construction organization LX celtnieks.

One of the main sponsors of the house's reconstruction is Baltic-American Entrepreneurship foundation and total investment in the reconstruction is 2,5 millions USA dollars,

Press conference will be held at 4pm before the opening of the house.

Apsītis, representative of the Baltic-American Entrepreneurship foundation in Latvia, Marks Bīzlijs, professor of the Technical University and Jānis Krastiņš, member of the board of Latvia Union of architects, will participate at the press conference.
