Partnership of the BMGS and Skonto būve will build bridge over Buļļupe
Riga municipalityģs Department of communications informs that repeated auction where rights to build 1st part of the motorway bridge with access roads on Buļļupe was given to the partnership with the full liability company BMGS S is closed.

As we can see in the database Lursoft, that serves Enterprise Register, BMGS S is partnership thatģs developed by SIA Skonto būve and AS BMGS at June 12 and where each partner invested 1.000 lats.
Four applicants submitted their applications on auction - BMGS S, SIA Tilts, SIA Viadukts and AS Venceb.
Itģs planned to sign contract with BMGS S at the nearest future and, according to the project, bridge over Buļļupe should be finished into 9 months from the day of the signing the contract.
It was repeated auction, because first one, which was announced at the last October, had no result. Previous auction committee decided to decline submitted applications as not beneficial for municipality and not corresponding to the demands of the customer.
As it was reported, new bridge over Buļļupe will be 179,2 meters long and 18 meters wide, including carriageway that will be 10 meters wide. Itģs planned to build bridge into 2 years and it will cost 6,5 millions lats in total.
Building of the bridge is very important for the future development of the port, because it will allow connecting main freight flow with central part of the port, which is located 12 kilometers from the Daugavaģs outfall. If portģs infrastructure is in order, ships, which draught is 17 meters, can come into the Riga post, just like in Ventspils and Klaipēda.
Planned bridge is connected with the future development of Riga, because it will be connected with North Bridge or tunnel under the Daugava.
