"Rebir" receives first A category integrated environmental permit in region

Minister of Environmental Protection and regional Development Vladimirs Makarovs is set to visit rural Rezekne in order to present the A category integrated environmental permit, first in the Latgale region, to electric construction tools maker "Rebir". The permit envisages reduction of environmental pollution and diminishing negative influence on environment.

The permit envisages reduction of environmental pollution and diminishing negative influence on environment.

An official ceremony is set at the company today at 12 noon.

Makarovs is scheduled to meet with businessmen, deputies and NGO representatives at the Rezekne City Council to discuss regional development pertaining to infrastructure and environmental adjustment. The minister will also visit the municipal enterprise "Udenskanals".
