Quality system audit was carried out in the company at the beginning of April, the company's quality system was recognized as adequate, Garda said.
The company was founded on May 20, 1999. The company primarily produces beams for making windows and doors, they account for 85 percent of the company's total exports.
The Rezekne plant also makes floorboards, wooden components, furniture parts, and furniture.
The company's output amounted to 1,300 cubic meters in 1999, more than 3,200 cubic meters in 2000, the figure did not change in 2001.
According to Garda, the company's turnover was LVL 850,000 last year, the plant's maximum output is 5,000 cubic meters a year.
Installing wood seasoning equipment is to be completed at the plant this year, which will double the plant's capacity and its maximum output will amount to 10,000 cubic meters a year.
The company's products are primarily marketed in Germany (75 percent), Scandinavian countries (10 percent), Europe (10 percent) and Latvia (5 percent).
