Latviaģs company PBLC built new docks and it finished buildings before the term agreed in contract, because it was planned to finish building operations only by this September. Airport Riga paid for the building 10,1 millions US dollars.
ACB Ltd. did building of platforms and densifalt was used there for the first time in Latvia. Itģs more plastic and doesnģt deforms under the huge weight of airplanes and hot weather.
Total size of building operations in airport was 13 hectares said Dārziņš.
Next goal of the modernization at the airport Riga will be extension of the new cinder-path. It is 2.600 meters long at the present moment, but itģs planned to extend it for 500 meters more, because itģs difficult for huge airplanes with full freights to get off the ground.
