As agency LETA was informed by Rems Razums, director of PR, Real Estate Company Linstow Varner Ltd. prepares the technical project of the buildings at the present moment.
Itģs planned to start building operations at September and to finish all reconstruction operations in Riga Central railway station and itģs surroundings at the beginning of 2003.
Itģs planned in the sketch design to add two three level house complexes to the Station building, to build a new, modern Clock tower, and build large parking place under the Station square.
Main attention in station square plans is given to the regulation of traveler flow and modern architectural solutions. Station Square is public place where thousands of people go every day and which creates Rigaģs image.
