Seizure on planned Stockmann center is cancelled
Yesterday law-court of Zemgaleģs suburb decided to cancel decision that was made on June 29 about seizure on companyģs Re^amp;Re property, including building on 13 janvāra street 8, where Stockmann center is planned.
Yesterday law-court of Zemgaleģs suburb decided to cancel decision that was made on June 29 about seizure on companyģs Re&Re property, including building on 13 janvāra street 8, where Stockmann center is planned.
As Didzis Putniņš, director of the Re&Re informed agency LEAT, this decision was made based on the companyģs Re&Re application about canceling the decision about seizure, because Re&Re have met itģs liabilities against Daudzstāvu autonovietne Ltd. and it has enough funds and property to meet itģs liabilities without guarantee of the claim. Court decided also to cancel veto on building operations for company Re&Re in this object.
Re&Re Ltd. bought new-build parking place on 13.janvāra street 8 that belongs to the Daudzstāvu autonovietne Ltd, undertaking all of objectģs obligations. But according to the decision thatģs made on May 2, 2001 by Riga region court, Daudzstāvu autonovietne Ltd. has been find insolvent and Audita serviss Ltd., that was appointed as administrator, submitted application in the law-court of Zemgaleģs suburb about guarantee of the claim before itģs pursuing against Re&Re about payment of the sum of the purchase.
Putniņš informed, that after detailed examination of deal materials that Re&Re Ltd. submitted additionally, including documents, that are approved by several banks, that confirms payments, Jānis Mellups, representative of the administrator, found out, that there was not full documentation about essence of the deal at the moment of the applicationģs submission. After the listening of explanations of both parts and checking submitted documents court decided, that there are enough reasons to cancel the guarantee.
Latviaģs building company Re&Re together with Finlandģs companies Stockmann AB OY and Rautakirja OY plans to build multifunctional cinema and business center Stockmann at the 13.janvāra street 8.
Latviaģs architectģs bureau Postform Projekts Rīga together with Finlandģs architects bureau Arkkitektikonttori Petri Pussinen OY already prepared sketch design of the building.
