"Statoil" raises diesel fuel prices, cuts gasoline price
The fuel retailer "Latvija Statoil Ltd.", after raising diesel fuel price on the average by one half-santime yesterday, has decided to cut gasoline prices by 0.3 santimes per liter on the average today, LETA learned from the company.

Previously, diesel fuel price at the company's fuel filling stations was at 52.4 santimes per liter, whereas yesterday, the price was raised up to 52.9 santimes per liter at most "Statoil" filling stations.
This afternoon, one liter of 95E octane gas costs between 52.1-52.4 santimes per liter (instead of 52.4-52.7 yesterday), but one liter of 98 octane gas today is lowered to 53.1 santimes per liter (instead of 53.4).
"Statoil" explains the above changes in prices with pricing policy which has been formed taking into account not only external economic factors but also the situation on the domestic market.
