Supports a building of multifunctional cinema, social and shopping centre at 13. janvara street.
Today Riga municipality's City development committee agreed to rent RE&RE Ltd. three pieces of land that belong to the city. Size of the land is 1818, 1530 and 2145 square meters each and it's located at 13.janvara street in Riga. It's planned to build there a multifunctional cinema, social and shopping centre. Goal of project has change with the change of renter.
As agency LETA was informed by Riga municipality's Department of Information and PR, those pieces of land were rented to Daudzstavu autonovietne Ltd., which started to build multistage parking place.
As City development committee notes, considering problems with parking at the centre, parking places should be included in the new project. First proposal of the project reserves at least 90 parking places at the new centre. Committee charged to arrange the fencing of building yard according to the demands of building rules.
Considering, that land is on the border of Riga city's canal, rights of use of this land are limited and committee determined, that renter has to do improvement of the city's canal sides, according to the demands of greenery maintenance and protection rules. List of the works and terms have to be coordinated with municipality's environment department.
