Tender results announced on reconstruction project for department store "Centrs"

A tender on the best design project for reconstruction of the department store "Centrs" in Old Town Riga (at Valnu, Audeju, Kaleju and Teatra streets) concluded yesterday, LETA was informed by Rems Razums, project and PR director at "Linstow Varner", the organizer of the tender.

A tender on the best design project for reconstruction of the department store "Centrs" in Old Town Riga (at Valnu, Audeju, Kaleju and Teatra streets) concluded yesterday, LETA was informed by Rems Razums, project and PR director at "Linstow Varner", the organizer of the tender.

No first prize was awarded. Second place went to three projects: "Arplan Ltd.", "Substance Ltd." and individual firm "Maijas projektesanas birojs". Cash prizes worth LVL 4,000 will be granted to the three firms. A consolation prize of LVL 1,000 will be granted to "Jonika Ltd.".

The "Linstow Varner" jury recommended continued cooperation with three second-place finishers within a closed tender.

A press briefing on the results of the tender is set today for the Architects' House at 11 Tornu Street at 12 noon today.
