JSC Bashkirenergo and JSC Silovye Mashiny signed the framework agreement over the supply of turbogenerator equipment to the CHPP-5, under construction in Ufa, says "Kommersant".

The gas-fired turbine GTE-160 of Siemens will be manufactured on licence at the Leningrad metal plant, and the vapor turbine T-60/75 will be delivered from Kaluga turbine plant.

The turbogenerators for the gas and vapor turbines will be completed at Elektrosila plant in St. Petersburg. The deal's value has not been defined yet as the additional supply agreements are not clear yet.

The CHPP-5 with the electrical capacity of 440 MW and thermal capacity of 300 Gcal/h will be built in the district of Zaton.

The station will include two gas-vapor PGU-220 units, which will become the first attempt to install new highly efficient gas-vapor technology at a CHPP. The equipment will increase the efficiency of electricity production by 30-40%.
