Six months ahead of the start, preparations are already in full swing for one of the most important international building trade fairs. In order to further raise the profile of this event in the eyes of both exhibitors and visitors, the organisers – MEDIA GLOBE and CROCUS EXPO – have renamed the event: BUILDEX is now BATIMAT RUSSIA. This international construction trade fair takes place from 1 to 4 April 2014 in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in the Russian capital of Moscow.
Following a successful début in 2012 and a promising second edition in 2013, the goal now for the organisers of the 2014 event is to expand BATIMAT RUSSIA into the most important international trade fair for building materials and interiors in the growing market of the Russian Federation. As part of the renaming process, the organisers acquired the rights to use the name, a word and figurative mark, and, on the basis of the new brand image and the link to the leading trade fair BATIMAT PARIS, they will be further developing the construction trade fair, widening its international reach and intensifying its sector orientation.
Gateway to the Russian market
For international companies and associations, BATIMAT RUSSIA has special significance as a gateway to the Russian market: It offers an ideal platform for opening up one of the most important growth markets worldwide, because the Russian building sector, with all the building trades it encompasses, is expanding strongly.
At BUILDEX 2013 the organisers welcomed more than 400 exhibitors from Russia, the CIS, Europe and Asia, as well as over 61,000 visitors. On approximately 50,000 square metres in six exhibition halls these exhibitors showcased the entire spectrum of building products and services.
