Riga City Council Chairman Gundars Bojars informed DB that "global companies" have been showing interest in "Rigas udens" since the end of last year.
Whereas Raimonds Krumins, director of the Finance Department at the Riga City Council, informed that the companies are from France, Germany and a Nordic country.
The newspaper informs that a French company had previously shown interest in the Vilnius water supply company "Vilniaus Vandenis" but talks failed to reach a solution.
