Tomorrow, July 11, company Ferrus with support of Russian embassy will open new Tractorģs composing line, Aleksejs Maslovs, Ferrus chief of the board, informed agency LETA.
Mihails Sadulajevs, vice president of the company, told, that Ferrus will compose in Latvia tractors, that are produced in Russia, Vladimiraģs factory, that will be equipped with German Companyģs Deutz engines in Latvia.
Maslovs said that 730.000 lats are invested in building of the technical center.
Itģs planned to export tractors, that will be composed in Latvia to the USA, where first four of composed tractors will be send shortly.
Itģs planned to sell tractors also at the Latvian and Baltic markets, bet company plans to go to the USA and West Europe markets first, indicated Sadulajev.
One composed tractor from company Ferrus will cost 10.000 USA dollars and similar price could be for West Europe customers too.
