Lot 1 Supply of new Submerged Aerated Filters for wastewater treatment.
Design and supply of SAF units for both secondary and tertiary treatment of wastewater to achieve various qualitative final effluent limits for population equivalents of up to 1,500. The SAF unit must be capable of treating sewage collected in combined sewerage systems, ie multiples of dry weather flow as a result of rainfall. It must be possible to remove the aeration equipment without removing the SAF media.
Lot 2 Maintenance of Submerged Aerated Filters for wastewater treatment.
Provision of SAF refurbishment service including media replacement, blower replacement and aeration grid maintenance or replacement.
Lot 3 Supply of new Granular Media Filters for wastewater tertiary treatment.
Design and supply of Granular Media Filters for wastewater tertiary treatment to meet final effluent consent limits of less than 10mg/l BOD. The scope would also include provision of the filter media and all associated backwashing equipment. This lot covers flow rates in the range from very small (<10l/s) up to approx 200l/s.

Precīza informācija par pārsūdzību iesniegšanas termiņu(-iem): Scottish Water will incorporate a minimum of a 10 calendar day standstill period at the point of information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have 2 working days from the notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such additional information should be required from the contact point quoted in Section 1.1 of this notice.
If an appeal regarding the award of contract has not been successfully resolved The Utilities Contracts (Scotland) Regulations (SSI 2006 No.2) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at harm by a breach of the rule to take action in the Sheriff Court or Court of Session. Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within 3 months). Where a contract has not been entered into the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the contract has been entered into the Court may only award damages.
