"Vulkans" ruled insolvent
The Kurzeme Regional Court today ruled the Kuldiga wood processing company "Vulkans" insolvent, LETA learned at the court.

The court made the decision according to three points - the company's debts exceed assets, the balance has not been submitted on time and regular debts have not been discharged.
As LETA was informed by the company's administrator Egmonts Ekarts, total company debts amount to LVL 1.8 million, of which LVL 750,000 are tax arrears.
As reported, the joint-stock "Talsu mezrupnieks" (Talsu Forestry) had filed a petition to the Kurzeme Regional Court requesting to rule "Vulkans" insolvent. "Vulkans" owed LVL 7,300 to "Talsu mezrupnieks" for supplied products.
